Communiqué National Guard Lt. Jose Antonio Colina Pulido in relation to report by the International Institute for Strategic Studies British where it shows the support of Hugo Chavez to the Colombian narco-guerrillas.

The report by the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London, also to demonstrate the funding and support from the regime of Hugo Chavez to the Colombian guerrillas, exposes the degree of relationship that exists between the current political police SEBIN, DISIP and this former rebel groups who have left the border areas to settle in major cities of Venezuela. The most important thing to emphasize is that the authorities were in charge of the DISIP, when there was the strengthening of the cooperation body the political police and the Colombian guerrillas are the same that are now in charge of the agency and other major institutions of the National Armed Forces, as is the case of Army General Miguel Eduardo Rodriguez Torres, who was director of the Disip from 2002 to 2005, and currently plays in the same position, which back in the year 2010 and we have the case of General Henry Rangel Silva, who was in the dissipated from the year 2005 until 2010 and currently serves Strategic Command as Chief of Operations. The report points out that in the year 2002, after the departure of Hugo Chavez the power vacuum that ensued, was asked to support the guerrillas to operate within the country and although it points out specific events, it is imperative to remember that the years 2002 and 2003 were characterized by the proliferation of use of explosive devices in different places, like the English Embassy and the Consulate of Colombia, the Honor Guard Regiment the Presidential Palace and the Air Base of Charlotte, to name a few, whose opportunities were charged sectors of the opposition, members of the military specifically protest the Plaza Altamira, who requested the resignation of Hugo Chavez in October 2002. Today
is shown that the allegations made by the accused at that time were true and that all the violence and the proliferation of destabilizing activities through the use of explosives were mounted operations by the political police, DISIP old together with the Colombian guerrillas in Venezuela.
Eight years after the realization of these events, which resulted in dead, imprisoned, persecuted and exiled politicians, I affirm my remark I made in the past to the Police Policy and G2 SEBIN Cuban intellectual authors of these irregular activities and members of Colombian guerrillas and their perpetrators, acts for which they will have to pay to justice, when you recall the rule of law in Venezuela.
